Alte Herren Mannschaft des SC Weiler „on Tour“
Von Freitag, d. 28.6.19 bis einschließlich Sonntag, d. 30.6.19 machte sich die AH-Mannschaft des SC Weiler auf den Weg nach Ratingen bei Düsseldorf. Nach einem leckeren Frühstück im Colonial-Cafe in Boppard (vielen Dank noch an Edith und ihr Team) ging es mit dem Zug ab nach NRW. Nachdem man im Ortskern von Ratingen im Hotel eingecheckt hatte suchte man sich bei den tropischen Temperaturen natürlich direkt einen Biergarten um den Flüssigkeitshaushalt in Balance zu halten. Am großen historischen Marktplatz in Ratingen wurde man auch schnell fündig und verbrachte dort wie auch später in mehreren Kneipen gesellige Stunden.
Am Samstag standen einige Punkte auf dem Tagesprogramm, vom Freibadbesuch in Ratingen über Altstadt Düsseldorf bis hin zum gemeinsamen Abendessen im Brauhaus in Ratingen mit anschließendem gemeinsamen Kegeln war alles dabei. Bis in die frühen Morgenstunden genoss man nach den fast 40 Grad am Tag dann die kühleren Abendstunden wieder in den Biergärten und Kneipen. Am Sonntag um die Mittagszeit machte sich die Truppe auf den Heimweg, eine schöne Tour fand dann ihr Ende, vielen Dank an den Organisatoren Detlef Werner und Frank Gutmann sowie an Gert Eiden, er konnte mit der Idee mit den Strohhüten doch einige Hitzschläge vereiteln.
